A Poem a Day

My mission, should I choose to accept it, is to randomly select and read one poem a day for as long as I possibly can! I'm going to do my best to record what I read and any particular parts of the poem that stand out to me, a poetry diary of sorts. I am a little too excited about this! I put links for the poems attached to the titles, please read and ENJOY!

March 20, 2012: The Armadillo by: Elizabeth Bishop
March 21, 2012: Summer Elegy by: Danielle Sellers (I actually had the privilege of attending one of her readings while at Ole Miss. Sellers writes beautiful poetry and even better yet, she is an Ole Miss Rebel!)
March 23, 2012: Winter Remembered by: John Crowe Ransom
March 26, 2012: The Metaphysical Amorist by: J.V. Cunningham (HIGH RECOMMEND this poem, this was my first time reading it and I l-o-v-e-d it!(
March 27, 2012: What Do I Care by: Sara Teasdale ("let my heart have its say and my mind stand idly by, for my mind is proud and strong enough to be silent" ahhh, so lovely!)
